Talk Titles

Jung, Seung-Jo: Around the McKay correspondence
-
This talk provides an introduction to geometric problems around the McKay correspondence. Mainly I will present the moduli theoretic approach to the McKay correspondence with Geometric Invariant Theory for quiver representations.

Shin, Hyung-Seok: Counting holomorphic orbi-spheres in elliptic orbifold projective lines
-
In the first talk, I will briefly introduce the notion of orbifolds and orbifold Gromov-Witten invariants. In the second talk, I will compute 3-point genus-0 Gromov-Witten invariants of elliptic obbifold projective lines by directly counting holomorphic orbi-spheres. The second talk is based on a joint work with Hansol Hong.

Yoon, Youngho:
Milnor fiber and local system
-
Milnor fiber plays an important role for understanding of hypersurface singularities. Its invariants will be regarded as invariants for singularities such as fundamental group and cohomology with monodromy. At the first talk we will see these concepts and examples. Local system gives further understanding and calculation of invariants for Milnor fiber. I will mention about this and discuss the relation between local system and logarithmic holomorphic one form.

Hashimoto, Kenji: Automorphisms of K3 surfaces and its application
-
I will explain some basic facts on automorphisms of K3 surfaces. Then I will discuss about the classification of a certain kind of Calabi-Yau threefolds, for which study on automorphisms of K3 surfaces is useful.
