초록: Introduced by Wishart and Wigner, random matrix theory has provided remarkable results and challanges in various fields such as mathematics, physics, and statistics. The main theme of the random matrix theory is universality, which asserts that the local statistics of random matrix eigenvalues is universal. In this lecture series, we first give an overview of the random matrix theory and explain the concept of the universality. Then, we prove key theorems and discuss the main ideas in them. Finally, we consider the mathematical challanges in random matrix theory. The lecture series is intended for undergraduate/graduate students mathematics who have knowledge in linear algebra, measure theory, complex analysis, and basic probability theory.
