Speaker: 김태경(SNU) - On the visibility of Shafarevich-Tate groups
Abstract: We introduce the notion of visibility of Shafarevich-Tate groups and explain the related issue.

Speaker: 김도형(IBS) - Introduction to noncommutative Iwasawa theory
Abstract: We explain Iwasawa theory for noncommutative p-adic Lie extensions.

Speaker: 김찬호(KIAS) - On anticyclotomic Iwasawa theory
Abstract: We discuss various aspects of anticyclotomic Iwasawa theory for modular forms. Especially, we focus on how to construct anticyclotomic p-adic L-functions.

Speaker: 유화종(IBS) - Fermat's last theorem
Abstract: We sketch the proof of Fermat's last theorem a la Ribet, Wiles, and Taylor-Wiles. Also, we discuss the relation with Serre's modularity conjecture.

Speaker: 임보해(CAU) - A geometric approach to rational points on abelian varieties
Abstract: We introduce a geometric way to find rational points on abelian varieties.

Speaker: 한재호(KAIST) - On the Gan-Gross-Prasad conjecture
Abstract: We give a gentle introduction to the local and global Gan-Gross-Prasad conjectures and explain the local one in more detail. If time permits, we discuss its arithmetic application.

Speaker: 임정환(Oxford) - M-curves and their applications to generalized Fermat equations
Abstract: We introduce the concept of M-curves and how it can be applied to generalized Fermat equations.

Speaker: 이동욱(IBS) - On the Langlands-Rapoport conjecture
Abstract: We introduce the Langlands-Rapoport conjecture, which counts the number of mod p points on Shimura varieties, and discuss the recent progress on the conjecture.

Speaker: 박철(KIAS) - Construction of the semistable deformation ring.
Abstract: After reviewing the basic notion of Galois deformation theory, we give an explicit description of mod p reduction of semistable local Galois representations.

Speaker: 최서현(KAIST) - Finiteness of certain Galois representations
Abstract: This is joint work with Dohoon Choi. We investigate the finiteness of certain n-dimensional Galois representations.

Speaker: 장준명(Univ. of Ulsan) - Crystalline cohomology and K3 surfaces
Abstract: First, we review the basic of crystalline cohomology and discuss some recent progress on the case of K3 surfaces.

Speaker: 박진현(KAIST) - On the big de Rham-Witt complex
Abstract: We introduce the big de Rham-Witt complex and explain why it generalized the usual de Rham-Witt complex. At the end, we discuss possible applications.

Speaker: 장승환(Ewha Univ.) - Some mathematical aspects in cryptology
Abstract: We discuss some basic mathematical principles in cryptography. Also, we discuss lattice-based cryptosystems at the end.

Speaker: 박재석 (Postech) - On the deformation of pseudo-representations
Abstract: We discuss how deformation theories of representations and pseudo-representations can be viewed in terms of homotopy theory.
