Theoretical Physics is a field where one draws mental or theoretical pictures of laws behind natural phenomena.
The standard model of elementary particles and forces has been formulated using quantum field theory in 1960s and 1970s. String/M theory as a consistent quantum gravity theory has been explored in last 45 years. Our community of theoretical physicists, quantum field theorists and string theorists, in Korea has been expanding considerably in last 35 years. We have invited some prominent scientists from oversea and many local theoretical physicists to present their current works and views on the theory and Nature.
