Scope

With the 2016 Nobel Prize in physics awarded in the subject of “topological phase transitions and topological phases of matter,” it is a perfect time to review the role of topology in contemporary physics research and share perspectives on the future research directions. In this workshop, we would like to bring together a selection of prominent researchers throughout the nation, who work in various disciplines in physics, but use topology as one of the main themes in their researches. By exchanging ideas from various different disciplines, we hope to create a stimulating environment for researchers to gain new perspectives on topology in physics.
