Recently, there has been a considerable progress in our understanding of M-theory via M2 and M5 brane physics. There still remain many questions related to M-theory: the definition of M-theory, physics of M5 branes, related 6d and lower dimensional superconformal field theories, generalizations of AGT correspondence, wall crossing phenomena, generalized geometry, and mathematical physics questions. In this workshop, many experts working on M-theory get together to review and discuss its recent development and future research direction.
