2nd KIAS Workshop onQuantum Information and Thermodynamics
November 14~18, 2016 Phoenix Island, Jeju, Korea |
Home | Home > Home |
Introduction:
In recent years there has been a significant progress in our understanding of nonequilibrium thermodynamics in quantum systems, which has led to new fundamental perspectives and concepts on quantum measurement, thermalization, and open quantum systems. The workshop is intended to address these exciting developments in the 5-day meeting.
In the first 3-day school, lectures on five relevant topics will be given by invited speakers.
In the next 2-day workshop, we will have in-depth discussion on these subjects in informal atmosphere.
See 2015 Workshop
Invited Lecturers:
Haye Hinrichsen (Wuerzburg Univ.)
Seogjoo Jang (CUNY)
Chulan Kwon (Myongji Univ.)
Jaegon Um (SNU)
Junhyun Yeo (Konkuk Univ.)
Organizers
Hyunggyu Park (KIAS) -chair
